ISO 14015 Clause7.4 Communication refers to all types of communications, both internal, and external to, the organization.
It requires organizations to establish and maintain process for internal communications between the various levels and functions of the organization.
It also requires organizations to document and respond to relevant communications from external interested parties.
Examples of internal communications include: An inability to communicate effectively within the first few hours of an incident could seriously reduce the company’s ability to control the situation.
The standard is targeted to be published by Feb 2018.
following the committee's inaugural meeting held in London, UK.
This is the most recent stable release, and the recommended version for all installations. For pre-configured systems, see the pf Sense appliances on Netgate.
It will take into account other International Standards in this area such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labour Organization's ILO-OSH Guidelines, various national standards and the ILO's international labour standards and conventions.
There are versions for both i386 (32-bit) and amd64 (64-bit) architectures, this architecture is noted in each of the filenames for download.
The amd64 architecture (which works even on Intel 64-bit CPUs) can address more memory and may have other performance advantages, but requires a compatible CPU.
Moving forward, the committee established a plan for the development and publication of the standard: Assuming timescales are accurate, the standard will be called ISO 45017, as per the usual naming convention for standards published by the International Organization for Standardization.
It is hoped that ISO 45001 will attain more international recognition, aiding the response to published statistics showing poor health and safety management costs around 4% of global GDP.
